Reye's Syndrome is characterized by confusion, lethargy, irritability, convulsions, general weakness, vision disturbances, slurred speech, hearing loss and drowsiness. It is a disease that occurs in children and adolescents following a viral infection and affects the heart, liver, kidney and brain.
