Perniosis is characterized by skin itchiness, tenderness or pain, skin blisters, swelling and erythema. It is an inflammatory disease of the skin of the arms and legs triggered by exposure to cold temperature and is observed as lesions on the lower legs, hands, feet, ears, and face.
