Cushing’s Syndrome is characterized by round face, puffy eyes, red complexion, facial hair growth in women, red stretch marks, fat build up on upper trunk, menstruation changes, enlarged clitoris, diabetes mellitus, peptic ulcers, osteoporosis and susceptibility to infections. It is an endocrine disorder which causes overproduction of a cortisone-like hormone by the adrenal glands.
