Sickle-Cell Anemia is characterized by anemia, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, fatigue, jaundice, joint pain, chest pain, back pain, abdominal pain and discomfort, frequent infections, nerve damage, stunted growth and skin lesions. It is an inherited disorder that leads to anemia, infections and pain.
