Rheumatic Fever is characterized by fever, inflammation of joints, appetite loss, abdominal pain and discomfort, malaise, skin rash, fatigue, paleness, small bumps under skin, rapid heart rate and edema. It is the result of inflammation affecting the heart and joints when complications of Group A streptococcal infections occur.
