Pseudomembranous Enterocolitis is characterized by diarrhea, abdominal pain and discomfort, fever, low blood pressure, weak pulse, rapid heart rate, nausea, vomiting and disorientation. It refers to the inflammation and tissue death of membranes and linings of the intestines following gastrointestinal surgery.
