Glomerulonephritis is characterized by headache, nausea, vomiting, malaise, drowsiness, dark urine, fever, appetite loss, difficulty urinating, elevated blood pressure, shortness of breath, vision disturbances and edema. It is an inflammation of the kidney that affects the rate of waste product excretion from the blood as urine output.
