Brucellosis is characterized by fever, chills, sweating, fatigue, headache, enlarged lymph nodes, muscular pain, low back pain, constipation, depression, weight loss and sexual impotence.  It is caused by non-contagious bacteria transmitted to humans from infected cows, pigs, sheep and goats.
